We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified 7th/8th Grade Math and Science Teacher to join our middle school teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both content areas, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
About Us: Essential Duties:
Establishes and maintains a positive, respectful classroom environment by implementing clear expectations and utilizing a positive behavior support system.
Utilizes a variety of teaching strategies within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) to promote student success.
Identifies individual student needs and collaborates with staff to implement appropriate supports, including referrals and contributions to individualized education plans (IEPs) when necessary.
Oversees and coordinates the activities of paraprofessionals, associate teachers and volunteers in the classroom and during field trips.
Carry out duties under the supervision of the Early Childhood Administrator.
Other duties as assigned.
